I would make a product suggestion if I thought there was someone at Intuit that would actually take the conversation to heart. Unfortunately, their method of accomplishing this would require me to enter a rate for each employee and customer 30 minutes every payroll compared to the 3 to 5 minutes I spend with QB Timer. I reviewed T-sheets at one of the accounting shows where they told me they could do the same thing. It allows me to import their time and prepare paychecks, and most importantly, since I invoice my business clients on a flat monthly fee basis, allowed me to run a profit and loss report by customer allowing me to keep track of my profitability by customer, to see if I need to charge them more. This product allows my employees to track time by client and by work type, bookkeeping, tax prep, audit prep, etc. I am a CPA and honestly do not understand how Intuit could get rid of the QB timer. ![]()
